PhD student opportunity in the Crawford Group!

I am seeking a highly motivated PhD student interested in working at the interface of heterogeneous and enzyme catalysis. This NRT project will be focused on the discovery and characterization of extremophiles with novel enzymatic functionality with the goal of synthesizing biomimetic heterogeneous catalysts. A fundamental, comparative understanding of extreme biological environments and industrial thermocatalytic processes will be pursued.
